NWA 6947 H5 Meteorite For Sale
The NWA 6947 meteorite is a high metal H5 chondrite. The total know weight of 115 kg of the meteorite was recovered as more than 300 pieces. NWA 6947 has a S2 shock stage and a W2 weathering stage.
No place of find is listed officially, a piece was purchased in 2011 in Agadir, Morocco and submitted for classification. NWA 6947 has fairly abundant altered kamacite and small chondrules are scattered within a largely recrystallized matrix.
