The NWA 5515 meteorite is one of the very special meteorites found in the North West Africa region. It is a carbonaceous chondrite of the CK4 classification. The meteorite was recovered in November of 2007 as two pieces that fit together to make a single stone, with a combined weight totaling 13.7 kilograms. The meteorite has a very nice color and contains scattered chondrules that are easy to see. It is minimally shocked and shows only moderate weathering. A CK4 is a nice classification to add to any collection.
