NWA 8682 Lunar Meteorite

These NWA 8682 lunar meteorites were acquired from our good friend Steve Arnold (of Meteorite Men fame) who purchased a batch of identical stones weighing 82 grams from a dealer in Zagora, Morocco. Steve had the meteorite classification done by A. Irving and S. Kuehner of The University of Washington. The classification came back as a Lunar (feldspathic regolithic breccia). These are amazing specimens with the interior containing small white to beige clasts of material in the gray matrix.
