NWA 6963 Mars Meteorite

Northwest Africa 6963 is a Martian Shergottite type meteorite. The first stone found was an 83 g fusion-crusted stone in three pieces. Further, searching has yielded approximately 8 kgs of stones and fragments. NWA 6963 has minimal weathering. Interior shows abundant maskelynite and shock-melt veins.
This is a meteorite from the Red Planet Mars that is both affordable, attractive, and is very similar but not identical to Shergotty, the meteorite from which the martian type was named.
Some specimens of NWA 6963 are friable so please leave in their protective case.
