Dar al Gani (DaG) 978 C3-ung
One 44.45 gram stone was found in May of 1999. This fresh black fusion crusted stone was analyzed and found to be a C3 type carbonaceous chondrite. It is metal rich with numerous armored chondrules. Its complete classification as done by Humbolt University, Berlin is Fa 29.1 Fs 12.4 S1 W0/1. This is a fairly rare type meteorite with a very low weight and only a single very fresh stone has been recovered. This is a great opportunity to have a piece of a rare stone.
