Breja Meteorite
In the early morning of May 1, 2010 a bright meteor was observed and detonations were heard near Breja. Nomads recovered the Breja meteorite in Algeria and transported it across the border to Morocco where it was made available. These are slices and end pieces of very fresh chondrite material that has a light scattering of metal grains. Most pieces have some of the beautiful fresh velvety black fusion crust. Only very fresh meteorite stones ever have such a light gray matrix as these.
