The Big Rock Donga Meteorite was found in the Nullarbor, South Australia in 1970. Near the town of Fisher a hunter found a single 19 kilogram meteorite. It was not until 1989 that is was actually recognized as a space rock. Big Rock Donga is a very attractive type H6 chondrite. It has a beautiful metal content of thousands of small metal grains spread uniformly across cut surfaces.
