NWA 787 Meteorite For Sale
NWA 787 meteorite was purchased in Casablanca, Morocco in 2001. 30 kilograms of NWA 787 were recovered as many pieces. NWA 787 is an brecciated chondrite type L3-6. Through NWA 787 is predominately composed of type 6 chondrite clasts, there is material from other less altered chondrite types seen as well. Sparse, isolated enstatite-rich chondrules are present in the breccia, but no forsterite-rich chondrules were found during classification.
NWA 787 has a W1 weathering grade and displays a quite fresh interior with only scattered brown halos around some metal grains. There is fusion crust remaining on the many of the pieces. NWA 787 has a shock stage of S2.
