Taoudenni Diogenite Achondrite Meteorite For Sale

Taoudenni meteorite is a diogenite type achondrite meteorite. One stone weighing 24.37 kilograms was recovered from a location 15 kilometers north of Taoudenni salines. Taoudenni was found with patches of fusion crust on the stone.

Taoudenni has a cumulate texture and is composed of mostly orthopyroxene, with minor amounts of poikilitally enclosed olivine. Taoudenni has no shock features and is only moderately weathered.
